Kayaking

The waters surrounding the resort provide idyllic kayaking conditions. There are a large number of kayaks available for guests to use at any time free of charge.

Guided kayaking trips

For guests that are less confident or want to gain more of an insight in to the area, we also offer guided kayak trips.  Guided kayak trips explore the surrounding Islands and remote beaches with your very own local guide. Our guides will intrigue you with folk lore, local legends and the history of our unique area. Guided kayak trips operate on demand and cost FJD35 per person or are included free of charge for guests on a 'Rayver Pack'

Snorkelling

The reef directly in front of the resort has been a voluntary marine reserve since 2003. As you can imagine, a tropical marine environment that has been nurtured for a long period of time really begins to flourish. The waters in front of the resort are widely regarded as some of the best snorkelling in Fiji.

The channel in front of the resort is approximately 6.5m deep. This enables guests to snorkel at any tide unlike other areas of Fiji where the reef is left totally exposed at low tide. As the reef is located directly off the beach, guests can snorkel at anytime through out the day.

Guided snorkelling trips

Our unique guided snorkelling trips provide insightful information on the hundreds of species of fish, corals and other marine life that inhabit the reserve directly in front of the resort. Guides ride in kayaks to offer support and reassurance for those less comfortable with snorkelling. Guides also carry a mask and fins which  enables them to collect marine specimens off the reef and allow guests to examine  them before returning them.

Guided snorkelling trips operate daily and cost FJD 35 per person or are included free of charge for guests on a 'Rayver Pack'.
